Shipping within the UK
We primarily use DHL couriers to ship our frames to UK addresses. The service we use is fully trackable and insured, once a parcel is collected by the courier we email out tracking details, you can then track this online or wait to receive a text message alert on the day of delivery – assuming you’ve given us a mobile number for delivery. We wrap every shipment with care and use packaging that ensures the parcel is shipped as safely as possible.
We charge a flat rate fee of £8.50 for delivery, regardless of how many frames are ordered. As a small company this is a subsidised parcel rate, we pay more but feel that £8.50 is a  fair price to ask. Please don’t ask for free delivery – we get impolite responses from our couriers when we ask them the same 😉
If you want to double check any postage costs then please feel free to contact us – and remember, you can always collect from our workshop in Stratford upon Avon. There’s usually some left over Lego™ bricks lying around that end up in the hands of collecting customers.
Shipping to Europe
For European orders we use a mix of different couriers, usually DPD, DHL, Fedex or UPS. Again, shipments are fully trackable. Prices for Euro shipments vary wildly depending on country, so we recommend you contact us before placing an order and we can quote on an individual basis to ensure you get the best price. The online shop will automatically set a shipping price but we can ‘fine tune’ the price if we know what is needed and where it is shipping to. A quick email enquiry may just save you some valuable pennies to spend on more Lego™.
International Shipments
We have shipped our frames around the world and loved doing so, we want to send them all over the world for our growing fan base. The problem is that it comes at a price that is out of our control to a certain extent. The main hurdles we face when shipping Internationally is that our frames as standard have glass inside, and it’s this part that causes the problem. No courier will cover any item in transit that has glass inside, no matter how hard you charm them or offer to pay them. What does this mean, well if we ship a frame out and it gets damaged we cannot claim on any insurance. We have never had a single piece of glass break but as we service more international customers the risk of continuing to ship with glass is too costly. The way in which we will tackle this henceforth is to offer the following services internationally:
We will ship any size frame to anywhere in the world. We will use 2mm high grade acrylic glazing as apposed to plain or art glass. Some customers will be more than happy with acrylic, but some will want the quality of Art glass. In this situation we recommend that you place an order for the frame, once received take the completed frame to a local picture framer or glazier and ask them to cut some Art glass to size for you. As picture framers ourselves we never refuse this as it’s a standard service to our local customers. We’ll even give you a guide price and specification of glass to ask for. For our growing US customer base we use Tru-Vue Art Glass UV70 – it’s an American made glass!
Remember, our frames are totally unique and made by experienced picture framers. Your Lego™ will look awesome inside our frames, so if you don’t like acrylic glazing just get someone locally to swap it out for Art Glass. Simples..
